We have extended everybodys trial period and will likely start charging in December.  Would love to hear how your trial period has gone so far and your thoughts around payments.

Hi Garin, thanks for your reply. Ever since I started using Fusion 360 I had seen some improvements in the last few updates and I am looking forward to more improvements in the future. I had designed more than 100 lifestyle products for my own stores in SE Asia and Europe using the program.  I would not mind paying for Fusion 360 since it is a fair game. We make money using the program we  pay for it. I enjoy using the program and I found ways to go around things like constant crashes, or little thing like the mixing up of "diameter and radius" etc.. This is an early stage of the program, as time goes by it will become better and better. I believe your team will feel great when more and more people especially professional designers are using Fusion360. I think they will once they are able to experience the program. I really like the idea of combining Sculpt/Model/Patch in one program. Great work team!

There are always users looking for free 3D programs because they just wanted to 3D print their designs as hobbies and not really for commercial uses. Maybe they can try Autodesk's 123D Design or TinkerCAD. But those programs cannot generate STP files needed for injection mould making. Converting STL files to STP files using any conversion program usually generates very huge STP files. That is the nice thing about Fusion 360, It can generate very smooth STL files as well as very accurate STP files for commercial uses. That alone will worth paying for the program.

Hey Kingson! Over 100 products using Fusion? That's incredible. What types of products are you designing/what industry are you in? (Feel free to answer in a private message if you don't want to broadcast on the message boards!).

Thanks for your kind words and support. Would love to hear more about the projects you're working on!

Cheers,

Kat

Hi Kat, luckily I happened to check email at 2:30am. I will email a few pictures to show you. These are items to be released onto the market soon and our marketing of these products are extremely good. All designed with Fusion 360.

I can't wait to hear more about the products you have designed with Fusion 360. Keep us posted when you release them to the public so we can see some of the first products designed and manufactured with Fusion 360. The main thing that keeps many of us on the Fusion 360 team so excited to build better tools is seeing what our amazing users design and manufacture with them.

Hi Garin, Thanks for the reply. I had already emailed lots of pictures of the my products to Kat's private email address. Please contact her to see some of them. Those will be released to our Singapore Shop at the beginning of 2014. We moved our present shop to a better and more crowded location. Used to be at United Shopping Centre on Scott's Road. I am based in Hong Kong.

Thanks!

Hi Garin, thanks for your support!. In fact my avatar here is an actual picture of a pendant designed with Fusion 360. It is made of Neon Yellow Resin. This picture taken with 24-70mm F2.8 lens. The picture I shared with Kat was made of Yellow Transparent Resin. The whole image was blurred intentionally to make the scene more mysterious.... Kingson
