Patterns within a sketch?

Hello,

Please see attachment.  I was wondering is there anyway Fusion 360 is able to have patterns within a confined sketch?  I wanted to do triangles, similar to the 3d printing infills, but use that as a pattern.

You can do that,

no one will recommend it, Sketch patterns impose a lot of extra work on the sketch engine.

So once created you will notice long delays, when editing that sketch.

What do you intend to do with those lines, cause it is much more efficient to make one body and pattern it.

Might help.....

New on Fusion 360 here, I'm currently facing the same issue. I would like to create a pattern inside a confined sketch, such as triangles, circles, stripes, etc. The goal would be to create a tactile pattern on the object once printed, so I would like to know if you came up with a solution to the problem?

Or if someone knows how to do this I am interested.

Thanks.

It probably would have been best to start a new discussion thread and include your initial attempt via File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here.

I would probably create one feature and then pattern (or maybe Rib or Web) and then Intersect my desired boundary.

I intentionally left this description very vague as there are an infinite number of solutions depending on my true Design Intent.  Occasionally I think I have a novel idea, but most always I can find an existing example in the real world that is very much representative of my Design Intent.
