Pattern on arc / spline

Hello,

I wonder how to make a halfround or flute all around curved edges. ( not circular) 

I included my design and in the sketch called flutes you can see the first one I did. I hope I don't have to repeat the drawing of a circle and then deleting lines for x amount of times. Hope there is a quick solution?

There is not "Pattern on Path" command in the sketch environment.  If I am understanding what you will use this sketch for, use the sketch to create the cut and then use the Pattern on Path command.  If I misunderstood you, let me know.  Depth of the cut flute is easily edited.  Model is attached.
