Pattern features not showing with parameter quantity

Hello,

I am quite new to Fusion 360 and this is the first 3D Design software where I am learning parametric design. I am designing a small desk/bookcase where I want to parametrize how many shelves it has. Before I actually create the shelves I want to create the dados that the shelves will rest on, this is the feature I am trying to pattern.

I have a parameter for the shelf count "CajonesIzq". It is unitless. And when I change it the pattern regenerates just fine because the distance between the shelves changes accordingly, however it will not show more than 3 features for some reason.

Below is a screencast of the problem and my design. Am I doing something wrong here? I tried looking for similar posts on the forum but no one seemed to have this same issue.

Take a look at the screencast.  You have a units mismatch causing your issue.  I had to remove the variable from the "AlturaCajonizq" equation because it must have a "pcs" unit to fit the pattern.  You will have to create another variable for this equation.

Thanks for the solution! That does make sense and I see now how I messed that up.

I am now wondering however, like you said, how to convert that one variable to another one with the same value but unitless so I can use in my other formula...

By the way, that formula is calculating the spacing between each drawer (the variables are in spanish, sorry I forgot to translate them so it made more sense).

Follow-up: I added " *pcs" to the expression in the pattern quantity and that fixed it.
