Pattern does not repeat complete feature

Hello,

I am designing a grid-like object to mark cuts for a pie. When doing pattern on two features at once the feature is not copied completely. I'm attaching a video here's a commentary:

1. Create a block

2. Chamfer two edges on the block

3. Create pattern for the two features

4. In the middle parts the chamfer is done only on one edge

Red dots symbolize missing chamfer. I would say that the intersaction with exsiting geometry is cutting the edge but only middle parts have the missing chamfer. I have no idea why.

Thank you for all suggestions.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

What options have you tried?

@sufliky

Attached is one possible solution.

But if this were my design I would use Thin Feature extrusions.

Thank you for the reply. Yes I have tried this approach where extrusion is done to a new body. But later on when I will use pattern I have to join the bodies. Unfortunately there is a problem where when a number of elements in pattern is changed I have to rejoin the bodies. I aim to have my model fully parametric.

I checked Thin extrusion but I could not figure out how to use it to get the shape I want.
