Parts list

I have 8 bolds in my drawing, a copy from one bold from the drawing, but in my parts list there is just one,  when I'm placing separate bolds I get all the bolds separate in the parts list. What I'm doing wrong!!!.

I need to have a quantity of 8 bolds in my parts list.

Hi,

Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d locally  > attach it to the next post.

Hi,

Check the hierarchy in your design:

Hi I tried everything but can not get the same results as you, I don't see the structure an d deferent levels.

I inserted a drawing  for a customer and when I make a parts list from it I get every bold separate. I hope you can and will help me to solve this problem.

Hi,

A double click on the parts list opens the menu.

I think I'd be very careful with the mirror operation if you want your BOM to be accurate!

So that means that I should better not make mirror parts? but draw them on them selves

I know this is an older topic but I just figured out exactly what @TrippyLighting was talking about with the mirrored parts. It's incredibly helpful to mirror 50+ parts and find out they are treated as new instances on the BOM (insert sarcasm above).

Since parts lists are an evolving part of the drawing workspace like many other features, does anybody know if some effort has been given to options for grouping by part number or another way to handle mirror operations? It would also be nice to define how many levels of the browser tree to include in the BOM instead of just First/All levels. Even manual overrides to remove unwanted rows and adjust quantities would be a huge improvement.
