Parts collide in simulation

I have ran a simulation between two bodies and its showing the two parts. They are passing the part boundraies that could affect the simulation outcome. I tried to add a contact of sepration and sliding. Is this right and how do I stop it?

Hi @Anonymous,

here is a link where you can learn more about contact types: http://fusion360.autodesk.com/learning/learning.html?guid=GUID-B43E60CD-1859-4A09-9AD4-394525DAA2D7

For instance if bonded contact were made between two bodies/components (two faces) they should not penetrate/collide to each other.

The penetration could happen if a deformation scale is too big, try to set up deformation scale to Adjusted.

Similar issue.

I have parts passing through each other:

  • I have set contact surfaces to separate and slide.
  • I have tried adjusted.
