Part fails while changing helix angle

I have this spiral part. I can't seem to figure out how to make the spiral wider at one end and still have the shape I need. If I try changing the helix angle the offset face fails so there must be another way to achieve this. I have attached a file containing the part and the screenshot is what I want to achieve. If you open this suppress the offset face in the timeline to change this angle.

Try Loft.

Use two profiles at each end of a coil edge curve.

Might help….

More like this but as the part sweeps up it gets wide so the top profile in the sweep is much wider than the bottom where it starts. the web is always tight to the central cylinder

That works well. I've never used surfaces before though. It sure makes a nice smooth part.
