Parameters local to Component?

Hello.
I am currently in the process in making a default modular component file where I want to be able to add the components and be able to adjust certain parameters as needed.

The primary goal is to make it clean and easy to quickly adjust parameters each component when needed based on customers needs. However... When adding components, especially from the same component, the user parameters gets cluttered and messy. Are there anyway to be able to create parameters that are specifically local to the component that can be named. Essentially just right-click on the component and open parameters ONLY for that component and adjust as needed, or is there an Add-in that can solve this?

Currently I can't seem to find this kind of feature in fusion and Im not sure if there's a good way I can set this up without the mess of duplicated parameters.

Hi,

Sounds like Configurations is what you need. Set up your standard parts in a configuration file and select from there.

Cheers

thanks for the respons. Yes I later found this feature. Tho it's not quite what I'm looking for either. Configurations vanish if I import them into another project and I would have to re-add them manually. With so many parameters it would get messy. Been looking around for a while and it would seem that it simply isn't a feature in Fusion 360. While the software supports Addons (or addins which sounds weird for me to say,) There doesn't seem to exist any such things either. Maybe Im wrong or Im expecting things that just isn't as common to be used?

I just want a drag and drop assembly with minimal adjustments and if I need to have custom mesurments I kinda just wanna right-click the component and see the parameters there isolated and just change them.

Have been looking into scripts but doesn't seem to be what I should use for what I need.

Feeling pretty lost if this is possible at this point

You can create a Master parameter table, then use the Export icon at the top of the table to export your parameters to a saved location.  When you creat a new component or assembly you can use the Import icon to populate the parameter table.

Thank you for your respons.

Unfortunately this is what I wish to avoid. as little tinkering and exporting as possible. As simple clicks as possible and as structured as possible within the parameters window is what I am looking for. Perhaps there are add-ins that can assist in categorization of parameters. I wanna be able to adjust each and every component individually, preferbly by simply right click and open the parameters settings, showing only the components parameters, not all of them.
