Parameter's expression edit failed.

Hi all,

I was making a file were I could use the Parameters formula table to open or close the jaws in the assembly file of the chuck. However, after making the formulas (they work), when I type the Name of the expression on the Slide Rest (value were the component rest in the slide joint) it says this and the expression is in red.

"Parameter's expression edit failed.

Invalid string 'RestJaws' in the expression. Please provide a valid expression."

Does anyone know what could be the solution for this problem.

Hi @bruno3S6JX  ,

In attached model 'd51' is driven dimension from Sketch2 and same is used to create user parameter 'DIM2' and 'DIM2' is further used in RestJaws user parameter.
We are not allowing referring of driven dimensions in upstream features and sliders created are the upstream features of sketch2 so it is displaying in Red.
To solve this you can drag sketch2 before the sliders or try to use driving dimension.
