OSX, Open with: Fusion 360

I want to set the Fustion 360 to open all doucumets with the .f3f when I double click a file on my desktop. I am using osx's "document info open with option." however when I search for the associated app I can not find it. Where did the installer place the application file? Can I even sent up a "open with" command?

Thanks!

If you want to open an F3D file stored on your local hard drive, there are three options:

  • Use the upload command in the data panel
  • Use the New Design from File option in the File menu
  • Upload the F3D file to the Autodesk 360 Dashboard (via the web browser), locate the file in the Data Panel, right click and then select Create Fusion Design

Fusion is not designed to work with the Open With command. The install file is located in the/users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/webdeploy/production directory. The clean uninstall instructions below highlight the key installation directories for Fusion 360.
