Orienting a part in 2-d world

I have a simple part that I want to make a drawing of. For some reason, it is not oriented parallel to any of the origin planes. When I try to make a 2-d drawing, I can't get it in an orientation to dimension it. Is there some way to orient it in the 2d space to look directly at one of the faces?

Try selecting one of the big faces then click Look At, icon on toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Then use New Named View to save that view and save your design, When you create the draw select the named view as the base view.
