Optimise 2D toolpath

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with optimizing the tool path to improve cutting times. I'm using a 6mm end mill for 2D contouring of multiple parts. To avoid the tool passing twice over the same spot, I've set a 6mm space between each part. However, the tool still makes redundant passes in some areas.

Does anyone have any advice or solutions for optimizing the tool path to eliminate these unnecessary passes? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Without using 3D, it has no way of knowing. You can also do Alt+Click to select partial chains if you think the time it'd take is less then the time you save in cutting air at the machine.

Please click "Accept Solution" if what I wrote solved your issue!
