Opening STL

I opened a STL file in Inventor and saved it as an ipt, then uploaded it to fusion and it was a 34mb empty file.??

Anyhow, I then uploaded the STL file and can open it, but it appears to have shrunk .... probably to metric dimensions?  How do I open it so it is full size.    I have seen a number of posts on units, but most are for exporting.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, the Inventor importer ignores mesh data, so that path won't work

For the direct import to Fusion, if the scale came in wrong (because of units), use the Scale command to scale it correctly:

select the mesh, choose a point to scale about if you want a different point, type in the correct scale factor, and click OK:

Thankd Jeff,

Not sure why I didn't look in the Modify pulldown, other than I am trying to wrap my head around 5 different things at the same time.   I ended up going back to the original program and scaling by 25.4, and then uploading it again.   But now it looks like Cam is not allowing me to select anything on the stl file anyhow.
