Opening an SLDASM file after upload?

I was able to open an SLDPART file, which took a bit while it presumably uploaded and processed.

Then I tried opening an SDLASM file, and F360 asked me for its associated parts, which I gave it. All those took a while to upload, so I closed the window. Now they're uploaded, but I can't find any way to open them. There are no actions I can take in the Job Status dialog, and File->Open doesn't list them anywhere I can find.

How do I open these?

Normally when you set up the Upload of an external assembly, you point the assembly and parts to a location on your web database.  When finished, you would browse through your data panel to the location you chose, and open the file.  I do not have a Solidworks assembly and files but here is an upload of an Inventor assembly and supporting files.  Notice I am telling it where in my web database I want the files to do.

@JetForMe - what kind of license do you have?  Some translations are not supported for a Personal license, and Solidworks is one of those.  Details are here .  So, if you upload a SLDPRT with a personal license, it will upload OK, but will not get converted to a Fusion design.

Ahhhh, derp. I kept trying to "Open" the file, thinking it still needed to be imported. It's there. Makes sense now, I suppose.

Lastly, why do files opened via STEP file or SolidWorks always need to be rotated 90°?

OK, startup license should work fine.  Worth a try

most likely the rotation has to do with the difference between "Z up" and "Y up".  Try the other setting
