One or more rails intersect a profile more than once. + A problem with a shape which does not close

Hi Autodesk community, I want to point out this is my firs post here so if the question I ask seems dumb to most of you that is because it is. My hopes are that I would be able to find a nice course for F360 soon ( any suggestions would be great ) but for now I rely on YT and my own trial and error.

So the problem I have: I am following a simple desing from this Tutorial on YT. The problem is that I can't find where my sketch breaks: I've tried the line me...

Thus I can select all 3 profiles to create a Loft.

Also for some reason I get this message: One or more rails intersect a profile more than once.

So as you can see the problems are at least two.

If somebody can help with advice I will appreciate.

I am attaching the f3d file here.

1. The tutorial is using a solid loft, but you cannot because the rear spline is not flat or on a plane, so it cannot form a sketch profile.

Make sure the all the rail spline end points at the end all are vertically constrained to the center line end point.

2. The two front tangent handles in you very first sketch both need to have the horizontal/vertical constraint applied.

Be aware that fit mirrored fit point splines are only symmetrical until you edit one of them. Editing a mirrored fit point spline is breaking the symmetry, despite the constraints applied!

Thank you for the help. I was able to fix the issues you mentioned.

Despite this I still get this error when I try to create a Loft:  "One or more rails intersect a profile more than once.
Try adjusting the sections or rails to avoid this."

"Break the rail sketch geometry where it meets the point profile,
then click the Add button before selecting each rail."

I am creating the loft from a "sharp" now but using the front profile does not make any difference.

Any idea how to locate an fix this issue?

Can you File>Export your revised *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Did you expect Sketch20 to NOT be symmetrical?

Well I don't thing they should be But if the Loft tools has a problem with this I will try to edit the two splines to be symmetrical.

I already mentioned in my 1st post that editing mirrored splines will not result in symmetric splines!

Attached is one way how to create symmetric lofts with minimal sketching.

Thank you, for real. Symmetry is not the goal here, closing the loft with all 4 rails is.
