Offset body for sliding mechanism for export to 3Dprint

I'm working on a mechanic boardgame, should later include balance systems, gear mechanisms with counters made by gearindexing (all based upon Galileo's pendulum)...

i want to 3d print this model seen below, and i want to make sure the separate components slide well after 3dprinted.
how can i offset the inner pilar that is now a body without scaling it that it still fits the outer parts?

kind regards,

Bruno

thx in advance...

day 2 in FUSION 360, new in this!

Edit the profile sketch, and using Offset Command, add a new tolerance outline,

you change to the new profile in the edit Extrude feature, if not right you then edit the offset dimension.

Might help....

Edit the profile sketch,

and using Offset Command, add a new / duplicate outline,

Sometime Fusion will update, sometimes you will need to reselect the new outline,

you change to the new profile, right click the timeline icon for the Extrude - change selected profile,

So far this is first time,

if not right you then you just edit the offset dimension, and all updates second and other updates.

Might help....

this worked out for the pilar,

but for the elements of the hexagon parts.

are more difficult in sketch mode to select the plane.

it always shows select curves in offset funtion under sketches.

I still have to learn sketch an bodies, because for me everything sticks toghether sometimes.

kind regards,

and thx for your help...

Bruno

Can you File > Export you file to your hard drive,

then select the file and attach to this message system, Attachments > Browse.

To answer your first question, was easiest to just do the pillar, but if you want to not do the pillar then same will work on hex parts but 6 times.

Now it depends on how you made those parts, a new person may not be understanding how many ways Fusion can do things like this.

Happy to help...
