Odd Shaped Lid / Cover

Hi All,

I'm designing a dashboard that I would like to create lid/cover for. Trouble is the lid will need to be a very odd shape and follow the existing outer rim. I would like the lid to be a consistent 3mm but somehow auto follow the shape, almost a like a sheet has been draped over the top and naturally falls in the middle ( see last image called "sheet" don't know how else to explain what I envision)

I tried creating a 3D sketch but couldn't thicken it into a body afterwards.

Cheers,

John

Can you share your Fusion 360 file?

To be perfectly honest I don't know the best way to share it. We'll start with this link https://a360.co/3oPUp4S

Sorry I've only been using it for a week or so and not familiar with the 'cloud' based system

The method you used to share your model does not allow for downloading.  To share your model, open it up in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save the model to your hard drive.  In a reply post use the Attachment section to Browse for and attach your model.
