Is the any way to change back to plain text for the email notifications? The new pretty HTML one's are in gray on white and are not as easy to read also the plain text only used a couple of lines where the new ones take up way more space and you have to scroll down to get to the message.

Have you tried selecting "Manage your subscription and notification settings or unsubscribe"....
....then in Subscriptions & Notifications > E-mail format, change the E-mail format to plain text.

Well that doen't work too well.
Here's what I used to get, nice and clear and easy to read.
With text only now I get this.
Guess I'll just turn notification off.
