Hi, How do you enter the  cohesion  and  the angle of internal friction  the mohr coulomb material?

Hi miano,

1. First you will have to create a non-linear material by copying an existing material from the non-linear material library. Please use this link:https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Def...

Library materials cannot be modified in Fusion.

2. I checked the Mohr-Coulomb dropdown and there are no input fields for cohesion and angle of internal friction. Please see attached image.

3. This could be an enhancement unless you are able to convert these two inputs into one of the inputs Fusion material lcan accept.

Best regards

Hi, I understand how non-linear materials are used. The problem is that the data needed to use mohr coulomb is missing as it is correctly present in inventor. Without this data I don't understand how the yield surface can be defined. I am attaching the image of inventor.
Thank you
