No way to to display bolt circle centerlines?

Hi everybody.

I've looked and looked, but I can't find a way to insert a center line for a bolt circle in a 2D working drawing.  Does Fusion support this?  If not, is there a workaround?  Thanks.

No Fusion can't draw bolt circle centre lines. The only workaround is draw a cylinder in the model workspace that's a long way back from your model. In the top view you can use the edge and in the side view it will be off the drawing sheet, the reason you need to draw it a long way back from the model. Not a nice workaround if you are working on an assembly though. Make the cylinder in a new component so you can hide it easily while modeling.

Thanks Mark.

I have a disc that attaches to a flywheel on an engine with several bolt hole pattern diameters.  It's tedious, but I really need to dimension a working drawing to take out on the shop floor.  Maybe Autodesk will include the ability to easily do this someday in a future update (I think I saw some videos for Autocad and Inventor where this is possible).

Anyway, I really appreciate your workaround.

best regards,

Frank
