Can you review the below link to see if it will help with the sign in issue in Fusion 360?

Please let me know if you have any questions or if the article doesn't help.

Thanks,

Hello,

Sorry to hear that. I hope we will fix it quickly.

I recommended you to use these steps.

Steps to get Sign-In dialog:

  1. Close Fusion 360
  2. Remove this folder : "c:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services"
  3. Run Fusion 360

Sign-in dialog should be displayed.

Please let me know if it helped you or not.

Also I would like to ask you if you could tell us  if you have installed another Autodesk products on this PC? If yes, probably it will need Sign-in as well after this action.

Thank you a lot

HI Mohammad,

I did not find the folder with 'web services' in AppData\Local\Autodesk

I'm trying to run student version with college proxy server here.

The below URL's maybe helpful to triage with the school's IT department and running Fusion 360 in a proxy environment.

Hi, I have exactly this problem after update yesterday. Now I can't log-in.

It started when I loaded Fusion 360, the files/data panel on the left was blank white, so I logged out but could not log back in. I shut down and re-started, and it came back saying it had been updated but then hung. When I shut down again it came back with the normal screen but with no user logged in and no way to ask it to let me log in. I've read lots of forum replies, deleted files and I've even re-installed but no difference. I'm at home with no proxy and it has been working fine for the last 5 days with connected to the cloud and version saving. I'm able to log in to the space on the web and see my models so I know I have connectitivy to Autodesk servers, but just can't get Fusion 360 to ask me to log in. Any advice please? Thanks for your help.

Hi RIch,

To get the login screen you need to delete the Web Services folder.

  • On Windows this is found in: c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\autodesk\
  • On the Mac it's: /users/<username>/library/application support/autodesk/

Note: On the Mac you may need to "unhide" the Library folder. On Windows, you may need to unhide the AppData folder.

Once you delete that folder Fusion should prompt you for login credentials. If it doesn't then we need to look at how you installed.

Hope this helps.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your reply. Unforuntately this did not work for me. So I've clean uninstalled and have been trying to re-install, but that is freezing on "initialising". One of your excellent guys has been helping me via chat, but I think the OS was in some way corrupted by a crash not Fusion related, and that is preventing the install for some reason. Looks like I have to start with a fresh OS and try again. From the same physical location it would start the install on another PC, so we know it is not the internet connection. Thanks, Richard.
