No longer computes the design after applying circular pattern

I am a fusion 360 newbie learning and have this practice scetch of a geneva wheel mechanism.

I tried to make it parameteric so that I can change everything later with only changing mandatory parameters.

I created my user parameters and everything seems to work fine until I apply circular pattern.

After I apply the circular pattern I cant update the dimensions but I get an error of cumpute failed.

Compute Failed

-Failed to Solve. Please try revising dimensions or constraints.

If I undo the circular pattern it is working again. Link to my sketch

How can I overcome  or walk around this problem? What am I missing here?

Well when I drill down the problem I see that defining the radius of the slot with an expression causes the problem. So instead of defining the slot radius I decided to enter the fx dimension to the width of the slot and it seems to work out.

I don't know why it conflict with the slot radius. If someone explains I will appreciate.
