New Update T-Spline Converstion- Don't.

Activating the Smooth tool in the Sculpt workspace while working on files created before the update will invoke a prompt asking for permission to first convert the Body to a format addressable by the tool.    Proceed with caution.    Some Points are now intermittently missing from a Body I consented to process- the Faces and Edges are still there, but connecting to nothing, the Points unselectable.     While I can't directly correlate this weirdness, it is a new behavior not before occurring.   Pull performs erratically when used in proximity to these aberrations.

@mavigogun Can you share a design here that shows this problem?  Preferably a version before you upgraded the body, so we can see what the upgrade is doing.  Thanks!

It took a while, but I managed to isolate the most recent pre-conversion version (heh!) by opening each and attempting to Smooth,  and- hey-presto! -hitting one that asked to convert.  See the attached screencast for identifying the aberrant Points.

Screencast will be displayed here after you click Post.

Hummm..... you've got 1400+ Screencasts- what's the secret to having them post correctly the first time?   And how do you even find the right Screencast among that unsorted pile?

Thanks, @mavigogun, for the video and for the PM with the model links.  We'll look into these.  The one thing I noticed in the video was I did not see the "upgrade" dialog for this body.  Was this one upgraded? [edit] never mind - I see you have the pre- and post- conversion models shared.  Thanks!

Regarding posting screencasts, I've run into the problem you mention:  If you use the "My Screencasts" UI in the post, the screencasts are sorted alphabetically, which is definitely a problem for the number I have.  I've requested to have the screencasts be sorted by time, but was told "no".  So, instead, I will wait for the email notification, open that, go to the screencast page in Chrome and copy the web address, then paste it in the text box directly, then click Preview, and Insert.  That almost always works for me.  It can be slow waiting for the email notification, but it works for me.

Ya, the depicted design was post-conversion.  I just found Strikethrough- I'm soooooo excited!

Hummm... mine arn't- just a random pile.

T-Spline Conversion, after the most recent update, still corrupts the target- disassociated Pull results, detached/missing Vertices.    The Smooth tool itself is wonderfully more effective- but the combination of corruption and effectiveness is like eating from a bowl of mystery jelly beans, some  ambrosia, some rancid.    This instance is a new design.

Thus far, T-Spline Conversion corruption is 100%- it sure seems either I'm doing something completely unique that I can't fathom, or the tool was not practically tested.

Creating a new T-Spline Body in a new design, no Conversion is required for application of the Smooth tool- and I have been unable to elicit a corruption.

If someone can share a relatively complex pre-November Update T-Spline design, I'd like to test Converting a file not of my creation.   This could be a really, really great addition to the Sculpt Workspace- but for now, it posses a real threat to work created before this most recent update.
