Hi everyone,i just downloaded Fusion360 and i am sorry if i am posting this in the wrong section of the forum, please remove it if it is.I am trying to turn the file impl_fin v1.stl into a solid and then add in material to fill out the hole in the middle(i had to reduce the number of faces first since it had over 300 000 and i reduced it to around 10 000).i am succefull with turning it into solid but the mesh lines makes it hard and i don't know if adding material is possible in the program.my questing is:is there a way to hide the mesh lines around the part and how can i add the material the fill out the hole in the middle;where should i click for the sketch?if it's not posible in what format should i export the file and what prgram woukd be reccomended for the editting? Thanks if you can help and once again sorry if this is the wrong section of the forum for this question.I also included the original file in case it is needed.

You'd be better off using Meshmixer or Blender for modifying such a complex mesh. As you've discovered, F360 doesn't handle anything beyond a relatively simple mesh very well. You're usually better off redesigning the model natively.
