i m new .i did my sketch in fusion 360 noticed theres no edge loop tool besides the one with tsplines(doesnt help) so basically i ad rectangles ect in design view to do what i need but i need at some point to add some edge loops.I tried sending my file to maya as obj and what i got was big triangles in spaces i needed to put horizontal edge loops. my model is a simple table top eye cooker .i have done the model in blender and maya but i trying to learn the best way to do it in fusion. at first loading the file as an obj in maya maybe that was  the problem.im looking at alot of videos online trying to see as since there is no edge loop fucntion in fusion i have to go somewhere and get the tools i need . if im looking wrong place or theres a tool i havent looked at dont hesitate to say im looking to learn so dont hold your keyboard key..............

First, I find you message hard to read. Some punctuation would improve your texts readability.

I personally use Grammarly 😉

Maya and Blender are mesh/polygon/Sub-D modelers, where adding edge loops is essential.

Fusion 360 and other CAD software works with a different and mathematically more precise representation of geometry called NURBS. That requires a different set of modeling tools and different workflows.

If you can share a screenshot of a simple model I can show you how to model this with Fusion 360. If you have a native Blender model, zip the file and attach it. (I've used Blender for 15+years.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Also include screen capture image of final design from Blender and Maya so that we can see where you are going.

BTW - is you Shift key broken? There is a lot of hidden and important functionality in Fusion "hidden" under the Shift key.

Hi,

Is that what you want to achieve?

In CAD software you DO NOT add edge loops! We prefer images to be embedded in the post so they are visible without having to click on the dreaded attachment. You can copy/paste screenshots directly into a message body.

Can you embed an image of the final product, not some intermediary stage ?

None of your sketches are fully defined?

Why are you modeling this in tiny "toy" size?  What are your intended Units?

Do you have any interest in learning how to model this correctly?
