New to 3D printing but not design - help creating 3D STL

I am new to 3D printing but have 20+ years in CAD both AutoCad and Pro-E.

I'm using Autodesk Fusion 360 to do 3D models for printing on my Monoprice Mini IIIP.

I have used the text tool to enter my name (5" long), exploded it, and then "Press Pull"ed it to 1.5".  When I go to the 3D Print under File the Selection tool will not select any of the design.  I can't print it.

What am I doing incorrectly?  It seems to me to be such simple process.

Right click the top browser entry, select, save to stl, will save all bodies in the file to one file, 

under the bodies folder, selecting one body will have the same process.

However, I have not dealt with extruded text, so there may be a hidden gotcha with text.
