Need to Create Custom Acme Thread Size

I am trying to design an adapter for a painting pole. The problem is that the threads are not a standard AMCE type. It appears the the thread width is about 1/16" and the gap between the threads is 1/8". I've looked at numerous videos found on YouTube and articles about custom threads from Autodesk but none of them tell me how to modify the necessary parameters in the XML thread file that I created (Attached). I've included a picture of the threads on the pole as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You could do this without using a custom thread file by utilising the "Coil" command. However if you really want to go the custom thread route we'll need some more info. I'm guessing the Major diameter is 0.75" but we don't know the Minor diameter. If you could measure that and let us know we can take a look.

If this answers your question please mark the thread as solved as it can help others find solutions in the future.

I've created a Windows application (and now Mac as well) for creating custom thread files for Fusion. You can find out about it here. Hope you find it useful.
If you need to know how to offset threads for 3D printing then I've created a guide here which you might find useful.
If you would like to send me a tip for any help I've provided or for any of my software applications you've found useful, you can do this via my Ko-Fi page here.

Perhaps using a free 3D model?

painters+pole+thread/

Google says:

What size thread is a painters pole?
Painter's Pole, Extensin Pole, and Handle Products
3/4 x 5 ACME
Painter's Pole Threaded Extension Pole Kits

The tips and couplings are standard 3/4 x 5 ACME painter's pole thread with a patented “Cam-Lock” twist tapper. The thread is tapered toward the base.

The outer dimension is 0.7200", the inner dimension is 0.6510", the tread thickness = 0.0965, the space between the treads = 0.1080". I will download the app as well. Thanks.

Comparing your measurements against available data for both ACME and Stub ACME it seems that it's a bit of a special. I've created a thread file for you that includes just the internal thread. You will find three designations (Options 1, 2 & 3). Each designation has the same Major and Minor dia's but differing Pitch dia's. You might find one that fits better than the others. Obviously you're free to change the sizes yourself to get the best fit but this give you a starting point that's hopefully somewhere near.

Hope this helps.

EDIT:

FYI I've added about 10 thou to your major and minor measurements so there should be enough clearance there. You might find there's more axial float than you want, in which case just decrease the pitch diameter until you're happy with it. Here's a screenshot showing how a value of 0.62" alters the width of the threads:
