Need help with triangles in pattern

Hi guys, I want to create a pattern where every adjacent triangle is inverted like the picture. What I'm doing in the picture is sketch two triangles, rotate one of them and do a rectangular pattern however I want the spacing to accurate. I can't be accurate with just using the pattern tool. Do you guys know of another approach I would take please?

It would be nice if we had a feature where we can rotate sketches or objects directly from the pattern tool.

That little bit of math is really not a workaround.

You should also consider not doing the pattern in the sketch but extrude the feature and them pattern the feature. That usually yields much better performance.
