Need Help with Aligning a Sketch

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to align the rectangular sketch circled in yellow so that it is facing the center point of the arc (its center point is circled in yellow as well).  The rectangle is at the correct height (it is drawn on the matching labeled offset plane):

Also, what is a better way to approach creating the loft design (with the vent holes) in this file than what I did?  I'm relatively new to CAD so any suggested improvements would be very welcomed!

@TheCADWhisperer Can you help me with this?

So i think i did what you were asking with the rectangle. I labeled the sketches and construction with a breif comment to help clarify. also use the timeline to get a better understanding of the prcoess. hope this helps

Hi,

Before you align anything to the upper profile of the loft body, you must first define the profiles that determine the loft body.

@g-andresen Thank you for the info.  Coincidentally, late last night I started redoing the vent holes by adding a tangent plane at the apex of one of the paths on the top of the loft and creating an offset one from there.  This is making what I was trying to do in my OP much easier.  Now, I am struggling with another aspect of the design, but I hope to figure it out soon!

@Schillertb

I took a look through your file and it helped me realize my original file was way too unorganized.  I have been redoing it and, in that process, figured out I needed to add a tangent plane to achieve what I was trying to do.  Thank you for the help!

Your video was super helpful.  👍  When you add the plane along the path, is there a way to make that plane parallel to one of the horizontal planes?
