Need help with adding thickness

I have a 3D CAD file of Carotid Artery bifurcation (https://grabcad.com/library/carotid-bifurcation), i need to add an extra layer on the artery so that is has some thickness. I'm not able to use the thicken command as it is not a surface. I don't have the time history to go back and edit in the sketch.

can anyone help me out?

Use the .stl and thicken it in Autodesk Meshmixer. the .sldprt is pretty useless due to its surface curvature problems.

If that does not suit your needs then convert the .stl file as shown in this tutorial and then thicken the object in the T-Spline workspace.

Thank You for the suggestions!

I tried it in mesh mixer, works fine for my requirement so far.

I'll try t spline if that doesn't work out.
