Need help on creating construction radius in drawing module.

Hello

I have attached two pictures to my question. So in my sketch, I have two construction radii that is used to locate a slot (dimensions lower right corner 199.661 and 134.25). I want to create the same construction radii in the drawing module I cannot seem to find a way to do this. Can anyone help, please? Thank you

I have tried inserting a sketch that is available in the module. The issue is that when I try to dimension it, it gives a scaled dimension instead of a real dimension of the original drawing.

Hope that is enough info for you guys

Hi

Where is your file?

sketching using the sketch tools in the drawings module will be useless for this.  instead, in the design space create a sketch with just the circles you want by projecting them from the sketch you show in your picture into a new sketch.  set them to a regular line type.  in the drawing module you can expose this sketch (the same way you you would for a solid).

I posted the screenshots. I don't want to share the whole design, plus I don't think you need it to answer my questions.

I might be a bit slow to understand, but hang with me.

1. In the design space, create another sketch with a projected radius of the initial drawing.

Do I redraw the regular line over the projected? Sorry, I am not getting the process.

This is why you should attach files to your queries.

It's easier to provide instructions through a video, especially for new users who are unfamiliar with concepts and terms.

You don't have to share the entire project; you don't even have to share this project.

You can create a new mock project with minimal information that mimics a specific problem.

No, just use the projected curves. Make sure they're set to normal not construction curves and they should show in the drawing when yo set the sketch to visible in the drawings workspace.

Just as a follow-up. is there a way to change that line into to dashed line in the drawing module? or it will need to remain solid?

@nikerochine

A lot of unconstrained and "fishy" looking geometry in that sketch.

And I would pattern features rather than sketch geometry.

It should ba a dashed line but the length of the curve might mean it looks solid. Looking at an exported drawing the sketch ends up on a layer, Reference and uses the Phantom2 line type. There doesn't seem to be any control over this in Fusion.

you can change the line type for exposed sketches in drawings from document settings-
