Need help fileting a .stl file

Sorry I'm new, this seems pretty simple (might not be, I don't know but I've been trying for a few hours now) anyway I want to round some edges on a .stl file I made in tinkercad because I think it's too limited to do it.  Don't mind the file name haha.  A link with directions or something is fine also.  I've passed the import part until I can edit it, but if I select the top of the object and try to filet it, it just locks up.  I don't know, it just seems like a simple thing to accomplish with a computer so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

The fundamental  problem is that your starting with a mesh file (.stl), and fusion sucks with all things mesh.  fusion is a nurbs/brep based modeler.

The geometry is pretty simple, most everyone here is going to suggest you re-model this with native fusion geometry. the results will be better.

a mesh to brep conversion is usually not a good work flow i case your trying that.

I would add that this is related to triangulated meshes.

Even most mesh modelers would have a problem filleting that triangulated .stl garbage.
