Need help creating an object

Hi.

I got an tipi tent like this tipitent.jpg

I planning to create and 3d print an part that hold the sticks together where they intersect, as that rope that ties it together are really flimsy.

My plan was to arrange the sticks in Fusion 360, and then create the circle and just to and extrude. But I`m trouble doing this.

Any tips?

This is how far I come. ( I also tried just creating some circles and manually placing them, but that also prooved difficult.

Any help is appriciated.

I guess if you want to create a rope like shape connecting these 3 parts you can create an Spline and move points or adding them to get the write position of your rope ( like a tie )
Once you finshed that use sweep to create the geometry of the rope using the path created by the spline in the beginning

Hope that helps.

Here's one way to do it:

I would suggest using the traditional method of tying the poles together would look much nicer and be stronger than a 3d printed part.  Flossing string would work well for a small model.

Thank you very much for taking your time to help me.

Look wonderfull, my plan is to use this in addition to rope. To help it hold it dimmensions etc.

It`s not a small object, but an indoor Tipi tent for my kid.
