Need help creating a flat pattern

I can't get a flat pattern of my sheetmetal part.  I've read a lot of posts looking for a solution but no luck.  This is only the second time I've played with sheetmetal in Fusion so I probably did something wrong.  I altered the flanges quite a bit with extrudes and cuts while unfolded, perhaps there is a better way that allows the flat pattern to work?  Any insight and help is much appreciated.  Thank you.

@pavmed

Thank you Pavel.  I can see you deleted some faces that some how relate to the flanges I edited.  Can you give me a better understanding of what was preventing me from creating the flat pattern and what to do in the future?  Thanks

That was a hypothesis that luckily worked out.

Issues with flat pattern occurs due to the fact that F360 needs to "unbend" some parts of geometry, i.e. substitute certain faces of model, that are built using certain formulas, with another faces that are built on another formulas.

That is not an easy task to do and for long time sheet metal workspace was the only workspace in fusion where that bend/unbend ( = formulas substitution) was possible at all.

So the simplier geometry you feed into fusion -> the easier its task -> more probable it will succeed

In general the easiest bend looks like this - in fact it's a pipe sector with flat end faces orthogonal to its axis - that's the easiest thing to "unbend".

Anything else - leads to possible fails.

So in this case I tried to simplify geometry by deleting faces and it worked.
