Multiple Parts Multiple Holes

I have a 2D drawing that contains multiple cutout parts on a 4x8ft plywood sheet. I can Cntrl Select some parts and extrude to the plywood thickness.  The first issue is any part not selected disappears.  It forces me to extrude all parts in a single operation.

Related to the first issue are holes and pockets.  again I can select multiple holes within each part and extrude or hole.  The problem is all the construction lines for holes and pockets not selected disappear just like the parts.

Is what I'm trying to do just not possible in F360?

Hey @neinspam2XVWZ ,

It would be much easier to help you if you show os the problem with a screencast and don't forget to add the file as well!

Cheers / Ben

I think it is the Preference setting to hide the sketch with the lightbulb automatically, after a first operation,

same as sketch planes disappear for first sketch on it.

So if you look under Sketches and the light is greyed out, click to restore sketch visibility.

You can stop the auto hide in preferences.

Might help....

Dave,

You were right, the preference setting to hide after first operation was the issue.

That is an odd default setting IMO.

thx!

Hopefully that 40% has died out of the gene pool. Don't want them having offspring that might someday become F360 developers. Auto-hide is okay to have as an option, but defaulting it is silly.
