Multiple joints on one component with Parameter

Hi

I'm just learning F360 and having trouble assembling a corner brace to a steel frame using multiple joints (see disassembled in Capture.jpg). I want to fix the corner brace to the position shown in Capture2.jpg and set this back from the front face of the frame by a variable distance (parameter equal to the thickness of a panel which will be fixed to the corner brace and sit flush with the outside of the framework).

I apply a slider joint to fit the corner of the brace into the corner of the boxing, then add a planar joint with an offset to set it back from the front face by a variable dimension  When I try this I get errors advising distance and angle conflicts.

Due to the radius, I don't think I can't simply select two points in space to handle this with a single joint, unless someone can show me how...... / is there a better way of doing this / am I just being a complete numpty!!!!

Many thanks, Laurence

Only need one Rigid joint. Select your placement points carefully, and make any necessary offsets.

HiChris.

It didn't occur to me to offset by the radius and then back from the face.

I was trying to find a way to reference the point where the faces would meet if there was no radius. I've just discovered construct point through three planes to place a point which is also helpful.

Many thanks, Laurence
