Multiple configuration tables in one assembly

Hi, I'm just starting out with Fusion after coming from Onshape. I have a design that has a few different design option, lets just call them small, medium and large. I've setup a configuration table but I would also like the option to configure a second table of different colours and materials. I know that I can assign different themes (colour & materials) to the different size options but that's not what I would like to do. For example, in Onshape I would have one configuration table to select the size option and then another table to select the theme on selected size. That way you don't have a long list of, small_red, small_blue, small_green ect. followed by medium_red, medium_blue etc.

Is what I'm looking to do possible in Fusion?

Many thanks

Pete

@peteQKGTG Hi, welcome to Fusion.  I am glad you are trying out the configuration functionality.  At this time we are working on the kind of functionality that will enable you the flexibility to choose different options upon consuming configurations in other designs, rather than having all the choices pre-defined.  Have you explored custom theme (child) tables?  You can simplify the main table by moving certain configured aspects into specific theme tables.  But the specific functionality you are looking for will take some time before it becomes available.

Regards

Gautham

Thank you Gautham for the info, I thought that was probably the case but I wasn’t sure.

I have had a play with the custom theme tables thanks.

@peteQKGTG If you are interested in some pre-release functionality, such as @gautham_kattethota mentioned some under-developing configuration function and giving feedback to the product teams. You can join our Fusion Insider program to get more information before its official public release.
