Moving multiple files causes "Can't move files that are in use" error

It seems like there's something wrong with moving multiple files. Here are my steps:

1. Open Fusion360 fresh so that there are no files open

2. Click on a model in the browser to highlight it

3. Shift-click another model in the broswer to select multiple models

4. Right click one of the models and select 'Move'

5. I get an error- "Can't move files that are in use"

It appears that I can move the files individually but this is really tedious since they take a pretty long time to sync.

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

On a related note, it would sure be great if you could drag and drop files in the browser rather than going through the right click menu to move.

Hi @ericksonla

When a user has a file open, it is marked as "In Use". This flag gets cleared when you close the document or shut down Fusion. However we have seen a couple of cases where a crash might leave this flag on. If this is the case you would need to look at each of the files that you want to move to see if Fusion thinks its in use.

The fix is to open and close any documents that Fusion thinks are in use.

Hope that helps,
