moving joints and components within an assembly

Hi there, I'm using fusion 360 on a MacBook Pro and have enjoyed assembling a test exercise as part of an online course. I'm stuck though in working our how to freely move components within the assembly as the video clearly shows is possible. It also has a shadow that is not visible in my version and I need to flip to components 180 degrees so that they meet each other. Here's a link to the file. Any advice would be gratefully received thanks.

You seem to be off to a good start with your assembly joints but you are having difficulty is exercising them because you do not have "one" grounded component.  An assembly normally should have at least one component that is grounded so all other joints can react off of the grounded component.  Take a look at the Screencast and see if I chose the correct component to ground, if not, please chose the one you believe is the base component or two if that is what you need.  As far as flipping components 180 degrees, you can use the Move command or better yet add an assembly joint to move it into the correct position.
