Moving drawings from one Project to another one

(Fusion installed on windows) when I'm trying to move a drawing from one project to another one there's no way of browsing among my projects. The whole dialog window gets moving with the pointer.

For a few days it seemed to be solved, time ago, now I'm getting crazy again.

Is anyone aware of this issue?

Sorry to hear that is happening to you . I am a little confused though, what do you mean by the whole dialog windows gets moving with the pointer? Do you mean when you try to move it a specific project, you cannot find the correct folder within a project to move it to? Or does the move command just fail?

A few things to try:

1. Does this issue only occur when trying to move the drawing within Fusion? For example, you go to your data panel and right-click the drawing and select move?
2. If you go to www.myhub.autodesk360.com does this issue still occur, or are you able to move the drawing successfully?

Hi Montagna,

Fusion does not support/allow moving drawing cross projets. Basically said, drawing has to be in the same project where referended design is. Same if you are saving just new drawing - you can choose folder, but within current/active project (project where design is)

If you press and hold down left mouse button on a project in Move To dialog, yes, whole dialog is moving.

Ok, now that’s clear.

The problem arises every time I'm saving drawings in the wrong project: the moving option would help me..

Anyway I think Fusion 360 is great!

Hi @Anonymous, I think I found a way around. If you hit the Dowload sign by your drawing on A360 you can save it as a Fusion archive and then import it in the right project.

It will also transfer the 3D design in relation with it.
