Moving a Body on an angle?

Hi

 

This is a new project I am working on.

 

The bulb shape is part of an arm and needs to move out of the Socket more.

I cut the Arm socket out by creating a sketch, creating a construction plan on that sketch which I created a circle to cut the Arm Socket on an angle. So that worked ok. But I want to move the Arm Sphere on the same angle, but when I select it to move it wants to go left or right, not on that angle I need.

 

Is there any way to make it move in the direction of the plane of the hole that was cut.

The "proper" parametric way to move that sphere in a mechanical design is what I am showing in the screencast. 

Instead of starting to sketch on the ring face, create an offset pane on that ring face and then sketch on that. If the center of the cylinder needs to move, you can change the offset of that construction plane from 0 to something else:
