MOVE/COPY - How do i copy?

I am modeling a part which is like a pipe, with ports and holes on the endface of the pipe.

I modeled the pipe, then modeled 1 port.

now i want to copy rotate my 1 port 29 times at various angles (not equally spaced)

my intention was to use MOVE/COPY, but how do I copy????

I can move the port to any angle I want, but then i still only have 1 port

Unfortunately you can't create copies of feature\faces with the move tool.  Your only option is to use circular pattern. One thing I've done is create the copies with the pattern tools then move the copies. Not very efficient, would be really nice to be able to do point to point copies of features\faces but when I requested it it didn't get a lot of interest.

In The Move / Copy dialogue box, just above the OK button, a Tick box is provided as long as the article selected can be copied.  Sounds like you want to copy a feature, but I think you will have to settle on faces (to copy an extruded hole)

Might help....

That doesn't work for faces. Would be really useful for sheet metal parts but when I asked about it AutoDesk were not interested. Funny thing is in manufacturing you can pattern pockets (the machining ops) using point to point copies!

Thanks Mark.

Seems bizarre that Fusion does not have any way to easily copy a hole from one position to another.

I am certain Inventor has such a function!
