I'm trying to assemble a button+cap but can't figure out how to position the face highlighted in blue to the hole parameter highlighted in blue.

something like this would typically be built in place, instead of somewhere else and "moved" into position.  (in fact you generally want to avoid using the move command in fusion).

if you export your model as a .f3d and attach to your next post, someone can give you better help.

Hi @Anonymous ! If the dimensions of the cap's face match that of the hole, you could achieve this by using the "Align" command.

Assuming the face on the button+cap precisely matches the outline on the cup, you can create a plane which runs through the middle of the cup and if necessary one through the middle of the cap. Create a sketch on each plane. (You'll need separate sketches for the cup and the cap.)  Project/Intersect the profile of the opening on the cup to the sketch.  Repeat for the cap.  This should give you points to use as joint origins.

As @laughingcreek says, post your file if you can't get this to work.
