Motion links and joints

Hello everyone. I have a problem with complex joins. I want to implement a mechanism in which the rotation of the handle causes the platform to rotate, and the nuts must remain in place and, as it were, press on the shaft, which causes the platform to rotate. At this point, there are a lot of lags and freezes when the handle is rotated. If I rotate the platform, the result is already better, but the nuts do not stand still and do not rotate, the handle also does not rotate and does not move along the thread. I will be glad of any help.

1. Only use contact sets to determine joint limits. Once that is done, delete the contact sets. They are a performance killer.

2. Your mechanism will not work as intended when built physically! The little block needs to be able to rotate around its vertical axis

If I make the hole oval, then at a small angle the mechanism should work without a rotating block. But I agree with you that the block should be put on the bearing.

Your queries and what Trippy said is implemented.  Animate Revolute Joint 26.  Edit and adjust as desired.

Might help..
