Modeling of a flat spiral (clock) spring

Hi All,

I'm very new to Fusion360 and I'm wondering if what I'm hoping to model is unrealistic.  I'd like to model a clock spring, and be able to drag the end of the spring to compress/uncompress the spring in the model (to see how it interacts with the rest of the design).  Is this possible?  I've seen a youtube video for a hack to make a coiled spring work but nothing for a spiral.

In the example below, this shows the uncompressed resting state.  I'd like to be able to drag the outer open end and tightly compress the spring, removing the gap between the revolutions.

Any suggestions?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
