MODEL MODE - Kind of milling tricks.

[EDIT] I think I solved the problem. The result looks good.

I modified my initial sketching used cut the middle. Instead if a rectangular I added angled sides, then added a Fillet to the edge. This is probably not the best way, this is why I am waiting for other solutions for my personal knowledge.

[EDIT END]

Hi guys, this is my first post. First I came from SolidWorks. I'm testing and using Fusion360 since few days ago. I love it.

I'M actually stuck on a model I use to practice. Actually i'm testing many was to build the side arms, and by the same time many ways to achieve what is circled on the screenshot named CIRCLED. My biggest problems is actually to have the kind of effect that looks like a milling pass(screenshot named CIRCLED), form right to left(or inverse).

The project can be found in the attached files.

Thanks!!

*** Dont pay attention to the way I achieved the side arms and everything around that, I'm trying many methods to see how things are working.

one way to approach this.  hard to tell what the geometry is in the picture.

A side note-when in parametric modeling mode (timeline turned on ) it's generally a good idea to avoid using move, align, and position capture.  use joints to position components.

Thanks for the fast answer.

I took a look into the timeline and as I can see I think the key is the Intersect feature. That did the tricks. I will have to practice this feature. I played around a very few minutes in some practices but I think I will seriously practice it again in many different situations.

I really appreciate, thanks.

SOLVED BUT:

ANY ADDITIONAL SOLUTIONS/METHODS ARE WELCOME FROM ANYBODY. Thanks 😄
