Modal Toolbox, operation menu, and command dialog ??

--------------------Issue #1 ------------------------------

I am here:
http://fusion360.autodesk.com/learning/learning.html?guid=GUID-FDF4912D-0A79-4E35-ACD1-7B9A73F6D2B7

under this topic:

To access commands using the toolbox

The Toolbox is a customizable method to access frequently used commands.

Use the toolbox to access frequently used commands. Each workspace has its own toolbox.

 ... ... ...

But I could not find the model toolbox on F360.

How do I display it?

--------------------Issue #2 :  Assembly ------------------------------
And I am also here:
http://fusion360.autodesk.com/learning/learning.html?guid=GUID-E37B0456-A867-429F-BF69-6A4626DD31E7

under:  "How do I create bodies?"

and it has this instruction:
"Most commands in the "Create" menus (Box, Cylinder, Sphere, Extrude, Revolve, Sweep, etc.)
can create new bodies. Choose "New Body" from the Operation menu in the command dialog. "

I have been doing several tutorials already using the toolbar, but I am not sure what this is:
"Operation menu in the command dialog"
Where is the command dialog and where is the operation menu?

I went back to "setup and orientation" section and also here Lesson 3: Navigation and

Lesson 2: User Interface , to see if I miss this, but I could not find it
on F360.

Thank you.

OK, I think I found answer for this:
-----Issue #2 : -------

The command dialog is the dialog that pops up
after i drew the box.. And operation menu is
an item in command dialog with a drop down list.

I only wish the author would have explained it like this.....

Hello @Anonymous

Thank you for the feedback.  We'll add the details you're outlining in #2 to the topic so that it's more clear.  Sometimes internally used terms get put into our content unintentionally and it's a great point that we could clarify these terms more in this instance.

For #1, make sure that you don't have anything active.  Either you're looking at a model or a blank canvas without being in the middle of using a tool or feature.  Hit "S" and the model toolbox should open.

Please let me know if this still doesn't work.

@knobbsa:

Thank you .

Here are the steps in the turorial:

.... ...

To access commands in the toolbox

  1. With no command active, type "S".
  2. Click the desired command in the toolbox.

... ...  ....

should be rewritten as:

To display the Model toolbox and then access commands in the toolbox

  1. With no command active, type "S" to display the Model Toolbox.
  2. Click the desired command in the toolbox.

this will make a huge difference for new users.
