Mirror/Reverse a modell

Hi. So I have searched but couldn’t find how to Reverse/mirror a model I already have. It’s hard for me to explain in English but basically what I want is a model I have to change from A, to B but still look the same from above as illustrated by X in the image.

It fits perfectly but just need to be small in the side that’s thick and vice versa.

Is it possible? Or do I have to make a new model from scratch? And what’s it called, what I am trying to do? Mirror would just flip it and mirror X as well, I need X to be the same, only that the round side in X to be small. Sorry if this has been asked before!

hope you understand what I am trying to say 😅

@xfredde, Could not get exactly what you want. Why not create a similar file that you attached above with what you want.

Like where is your A,B and X in the start, and where do you want them to be at the end..!!

Thanks and Regards,

Rushabh Thakkar.

Hi,

1. Please show pictures of real objects.

2. Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the next post

I mean, I need the model to be the same except for it being thin on the left side and thick on the right side. Attaching some photos of the print if it helps

Hi,

I would only sketch half of the profile, then extrude it and finally mirror it.

Many ways to do that.

Keep the top view of the model.

Use a sketch A as Extrude > Intersect, and then change sketch A to be same as sketch B.

Might help....

@xfredde

Create half Sketch>Extrude>and than Mirror it.

Or Create half Sketch>Mirror the Sketch>Extrude whole sketch.

Thanks and Regards,
