hi,

I think the problem is that we cannot mirror threads?

@nstevelmans

It's doing the mirror but it's not doing the features in the order they were created so it's not adding the threads to the boss area. If you mirror the boss first, then do your circular pattern and mirror the holes and threads separately everything works.

I can do a screen cast if you need me to.

@innovatenate Can you look at this and verify it is a bug and log it?

@nstevelmans

I take back what I said it is a bug for sure and is not working properly. No matter which way you do it the boss doesn't get threads...

We will have @innovatenate log this.

In the mean time add the threads after you mirror everything and it works.

Thanks @PhilProcarioJr & @nstevelmans. I tried two different approaches and was able to reproduce as well. I've logged report (internal ID FUS-29021) to track the issue. I or someone else from Autodesk will update this thread when we know more.

Thank you again for reporting this!

hi,

thank you for your time, and workaround,

I could also split the body and mirror them afterword’s.

I have experience with inventor and I was wondering what I am doing wrong?

Glad to hear that you can log this issue.

Is there are website where we can log bugs for fusion 360.

I am aware off the idea station but that is not the right place I think

You are not doing anything incorrectly as far as I know. I tried the mirror body approach (see attached) and there was still some funny business going on. I think the only approach may be to manually add the threads on the other side. Seems like the thread and mirror command are at odds with each other. I'll be sure to update when I can confirm what is going on exactly.

There's no website for logging bugs. You can report bugs here in the community or start a support request by e-mailing support.fusion360@autodesk.com. We are happy to take a look and log them. Let me know if you need help with a work-arounds solution.

Thanks,
